As usual, I came late than the opening of the event itself.
Though I woke up early that day, it took me quite some time to get dressed and prepared for my costume. My lil sis also took some time and it's nice to see how much effort we've given just to wear our costumes! Hahaha..Sinc
e this was the first time we prepared that well.
We got a
t the venue around 2pm, and my schoolmates were calling me on my cellphone and telling me to hurry or I'll be late for the cosplay registration. Hahaha.. It was nice to feel the support of your schoolmates eventhough there are not much of KiaoTiongers are into that stuff. Anyway, the place was really crowded when we got there. So many people roaming around the venue, and it was REALLY hard to navigate especially when you're wearing long horns
and a long dress.
But it was cool! I know the conse
quences I need to face cosplaying as Ultimecia. And that includes NO EXPLORING AROUND for me.
I thought things couldn't get worse, but as my sis and I registered..I can't believe that I'm number 165 in the individual cosplay catwalk! (That means, if you wanna be on the first few batches, then attend early. x_x) Gosh! Imagine the pa
in I endured standing and waiting in the sea of cosplayers. My horns and wings were really a bum! So many people bumped on them and I was so worried that maybe when I get my turn on stage, my costume is already ruined into pieces!
But that's exaggeration! Hehehe.. I guess I waited about nearly an hour just to have my name called up on the catwalk. And guess what? My performance on stage was a BO
O for m
e!
I made an evil laugh, and it didn't sell! Hahaha.. I guess I should stop cosplaying mature characters and stick to the ones I resemble with (in terms of physical appearance and personality). 'Cause I just made myself look stupid if I can't make it well. Anyway, it was fun though!
It'll have to wait for a while before I can cosplay again. That Ultimecia costume left my pockets empty!
Hehehehe.. And I think the money I spent would go to waste, 'cause I'm already planning to retire that costume after our group cosplay. Well, comfort first before other stuffs! ^_^
