Food for the soul...

Yesterday, japanese food.. The other day, pasta and pastries.. Today, I WANNA EAT at TERIYAKI BOY! ^__^ I don't know, but I'm really craving for food nowadays. Malls are closed. Fastfood chains and restos..well..most of them are closed too. Especially now that it's the Holy Week. But a while ago, my mom went out to the wet market. I was really a pest since I ask and ask and ask for so many times if she can check out McDonalds for me. 'Cause I was dying to eat something aside from fish and veggies. Well, I was actually dying to eat fastfoods and the likes! My mom just nodded. But I can really feel that she would check the place out. So I was really surprised when she got home with the famous plastic sando bag with an "M" on it. "Bukas 'yung McDo?"
I really can't believe that the place was running. It's Black Saturday!!! But anyway, I'm thankful to that. I really loved McDo's fish fillet burger, eventhough my dad would always criticize it. It's not like all the people have the same taste, right? My mom bought more than enough, and they even gave me their share (mom's and dad's). *sigh* Sometimes, I wonder if this is a good sign or a negative one. It can be that they're doing this to show their love to me. As the famous line from our parents go, "Magutom na kami, 'wag lang ikaw."
But on the other hand, it can be that they see me as their dog. Taga-simot or consumer of whatever they don't like to eat. Hehehe.. What am I thinking! Either way, it's both my advantage! Hehehe.. ^_~ I'm happy that it's already Easter Sunday tomorrow. Oh, I mean today! (Gosh! Look at the time, it runs really fast when you enjoy what you're doing. ^__^) Not only that establishments will be up and running again, but it's another time for rejoice and praise! ^__^ I guess this Lenten season didn't only make my stomach crave for food. My spirit also craves something deeper than food.. and it's the food from God. I did a lot of bad things even in the start of 2007. Actually, I'm committing a sin now! Not sleeping early might be a sin, 'cause God wants us to have plenty of rest. *sigh* So speaking of which, I'll stop already with this crime.
